Why am I here? Well, I once wanted to be a Journalist, but got a job back in 1989 working for a social enterprise company performing services on behalf of the NHS initially for three months, only to still be there over twenty-seven years later until November 2016 before starting a new career adventure.
Along the way, I have enjoyed a hobby that has seen me interview Ipswich Town players, have newspaper columns from inches wide to full pages, written for the ITFC Matchday Programme and freelanced for a number of publications and since September 2012, I have written ‘The Fuller Flavour’ column every week in the East Anglian Daily Times and Ipswich Star. I am also a Feature Writer for the magazine ‘Kings of Anglia’.
I have also got grass-roots experience behind me too having been Editor of FC Clacton’s Matchday Programme for seven years (and winning the Programme of the Year award in each of these years) as well as initially creating and now currently contributing as a statistician to the clubs’ website at www.fcclacton.com.
So, this is my journey continuing on a very long road of supporting Ipswich Town Football Club and along the way, I share my humble opinions of the Tractor Boys….
