Decent start to 2017/18 despite first league defeat

Back by popular demand (ok, at the request of a mate), I am now uploading the full digital version of my column again that appears every Monday in the East Anglian Daily Times and Ipswich Star.

Saturday saw our first league defeat of the season at the hands of an excellent Fulham side. Having taken 12 points from a possible 15, with so many players missing through injury and illness every game so far, going into the international break in second place is more than any of us could have dreamt of after last season. So thank you for taking the time to read my nonsensical ramblings for another season and Please click on the link below to read this week’s edition of the Fuller Flavour:

Fuller Flavour 28-08-2017 Sometimes you have to accept losing to a better side…Praise for youngsters and Debut Scorer – Josh Yorwerth.*

*Each week for the 2017/18 season, the Fuller Flavour in the East Anglian Daily Times and Ipswich Star looks back at debutant goalscorers in chronological order.

Please don’t forget that you are always welcome to contribute to the column (Contact Karl is the link above to get in touch) and I am extremely grateful to Archant Suffolk for their permission in reproducing the column. Happy reading and COYB!
