Saturday’s victory over QPR was much better for the Portman Road faithful to witness. Never mind the three goals and the clean sheet, just the amount to applaud overall made the road a much better place to be in general for a change. Let’s hope that we can keep this type of performance going now moving forward.
Last season, my daughter Angel (pictured below) went to the QPR game and she witnessed us win with a last-minute winner from Luke Chambers. So I just knew that I had to take her to see the same opposition and we won again. I’m not superstitious at all! Also, those of you who remember when she was a mascot two seasons ago might recall that the opposition that day was Millwall and Ian Holloway was in charge of the Lions that day. As we won that game and Holloway was back in Town as QPR boss, I just knew that with Angel present, a win was always the most likely outcome.
