Only two week’s ago, a home defeat to Wigan seemed to have put paid to our chances of a push for a play-off place only for six points gained out of tough games away at Brighton last Saturday and at home to Derby on Tuesday with results going our way elsewhere, throwing us firmly back into the mix.
A win at home to Nottingham Forest tomorrow will see us leapfrog them into 7th place and who knows, possibly a return to a much-coveted top six place.
Those last two results are arguably our best of the season so far with Tuesday night’s game culminating in one of those football moments that come along all too rarely when that orgasmic last minute goal sends you into the wildest of frenzies, not seen since away games at Blackpool earlier this season and coincidentally, Derby again, last season. More of the same tomorrow please Town.
Also in the past week or so, the announcement of the 2014/15 season ticket prices has been made and in this week’s column, it’s not the prices that I am unhappy with, but the lack of choice of a particular ticket in a particular area of the ground.
This and the other topics in the column are:
A glorious win – but can Town help me solve a ticket problem?…..Wonderful memories…..and Happy days.
