Trotters in Town tomorrow – Not Del & Rodney, but Bolton and Liam…

There will not be many better weeks this season on the pitch for ITFC.  A great win over play-off rivals Reading last Saturday was followed up with a draw at Leeds on Tuesday night.  Yes Leeds are struggling, yes they’ve just sacked their Manager and yes, nobody likes them, but all the same, it’s always good to get a point from Elland Road.

Tomorrow the Trotters are in Town.  No, not Del and Rodney but Bolton Wanderers who today have signed ex-Town player Liam….ermmmm….Trotter.  Hopefully, three more points will be in the bag at 5pm to keep the pressure on Reading just above us in the table.

Onto this week’s column, I caught up with one of the eight Town fans that appeared on Soccer AM a couple of Saturday’s ago (pictured below) and dug out a Shoot! magazine focus on an old Town favourite.

The topics are as follows:

Murphy’s return reminded us what we’d missed…Reunited with Town hero in old magazine…..and Richardson is latest in long line of Blues players with Boro’ links.
