Stars of the past, present and future….

This week’s column saw me getting into some early Christmas spirit as I start to wonder if we will be treated to that epic film ‘Escape to Victory’ once more over the festive period.

I had the pleasure last week of speaking to the legendary German Goalkeeper of that film, Herr Schmidt who doubled up as ITFC Goalkeeper in the 1970’s/80’s, Laurie Sivell.

I also take a look at current Town youngster Jack Marriott’s excellent start to his loan spell at Woking as well as announcing the Darts fundrasing night for Town’s Academy, with former World Champion Keith Deller joining forces with current Darts Ace Kevin Painter as the two massive ITFC fans look to entertain us on what should be an excellent evening for the club.

All stories of course in this week’s column:

Nugent is the type of player we simply don’t have in our team…..Let’s hope Jack gets a chance…..and Deller and Painter set to help raise funds for the Academy.
