It seems an eternity since our win at Blackpool but it has given us two weeks to savour that victory.
Onto Leicester City tomorrow as Saturday football returns to Portman Road for what feel likes an age and I am expecting a very difficult game and we just know that David Nugent is going to score his obligatory Portman Road goal isn’t he?
We’ll also have an opportunity to remember Michael Kemp prior to kick-off who I’m sure you’ll all know by now sadly passed away on the way back to the train station following the Blackpool game. It’s fantastic of the club to lay a wreath on his seat and to play that great old Town song ‘Edward Ebeneezer Jerimiah Brown’ before the game. I hope the song can be considered as our ‘ entrance anthem’ of the future.
You can read more of my thoughts of Michael in this week’s column which includes:
Daryl’s late winner has still not sunk in…..and International breaks an annoyance and an inconvenience.
