Last Saturday’s draw at Sheffield Wednesday meant that we are still searching for our first away win of the season, have still only won twice under Mick McCarthy whilst wearing an away kit and a result that saw us drop out of the top ten.
But I am still feeling in a positive frame of mind because it is so much better than this time last year. And do you know what? Sitting in 11th place just 5 points behind the play-off places after just 11 games is not a bad position to be in at all. Let’s just hope that we continue to keep in this kind of touching distance and be ready for a push later on in the season.
