David’s Boro strike brings back Dalian memories…

The past week has seen the perfect week for ITFC.  Two games brought two wins and five goals, including a spectacular strike by David McGoldrick against Middlesbrough and a right-footed goal for Aaron Cresswell against Yeovil Town.  Plus Daryl Murphy’s goal against the Glovers was the scrappiest we’ll see for a long time from a Town player (but hey, they all count).

My week was rounded off with a superb night on Tuesday spent with Kevin Painter that saw Hospitality taken in the Champions Lounge and in the Board Room at Portman Road – a nice way to celebrate both Kevin’s signing up as an Academy Friend Robson Business member and my 650th ITFC game.

Onto this week’s column and the topics are:

David’s stunner was just like watching a Dalian special…..Ticket issue won’t go away…..and Game will be night of firsts.
