All’s well on Sir Bobby’s National Football Day

It turned out to be the perfect day for Town fans didn’t it?  Listening to Radio Suffolk on my drive up to Ipswich, I couldn’t help but have hairs on the back of my neck standing up listening to all the old Sir Bobby Robson tales.  They really were great days, days that unfortunately in my ITFC supporting life were few and far between.

Then pre-match drinks with ‘The Artist’ was the perfect prelude to a 3-0 win and three goals scored at the Sir Bobby Robson end.  This week’s musings in my Ipswich Star/East Anglian Daily Times column include:

It proved a fitting day all round…..ITFC and the Clacton Disco date…..and A wonderful moment when I met Sir Bobby at Portman Road…..
